Woke up today holding an onion….. Not a real one but a hypnagogic version! Was in a nameless superstore who’s chillers had broken down so the onion was warm, squeezable & sprouting. Dreamt all night but can’t recall details. If you are Narcoleptic, comment on your vegetable dreams!

Another fun night in Narcolepsy land…..Penguins as tall as me but better prepared for arctic weather. Serial dreaming involving attacking penguins, hopping, diving, falling in between ice floe after ice floe….. Lasting memory, clear blue water, ice on top (too thick to break), penguins not happy, me…drowning.
Thought I might start being ultra-brave & blogging some Narcolepsy driven dreams. My hope is that those of you who understand & have the condition understand & feel somewhat more “normal”. Off again 14’ish miles to go! Sorry was 23 k completed in 4.5 hours. Humid, undulating but packing litres of water & ditching all wet weather gear. Slept / ate lunch in shade of oak tree before dipping under the M40 & round Chinnor before a late trek to Hinton for B&B at The Peacock…
Written Friday night Saturday is cross the Thames day & we also plan to meet my wife, Jenny & daughter, Lucy as well as our 11 month Cocker Spaniel, Jodie. All whilst covering a distance further than Friday, with a lovely ridge ascent/descent to start the day into Streatley / Goring. 4 days to go…
