8 miles walked today to “warm up” & a welcome & superb dinner at The Bell in West Overton http://www.thebellwestoverton.co.uk. We passed the owner, Hannah McNaughton, on our earlier walk & recognised her immediately we entered the pub / restaurant – great food & atmosphere. Would recommend 5*’s – way above the nearest competition, The Red Lion in Avebury!
Caught up with sister & brother in law, niece who were holidaying nearby which was a nice surprise but not nearly as much as seeing baby swallows nesting in West Kennet Long Barrow when I shone my torch on them! Minor cataplexy but getting used to it…….
